EHVAM – An International Spiritual Center for Peace

Our Vision:

The main goal of The International Spiritual Center for Peace is to act towards the establishment of a sustainable Peace in the Middle East, thus contributing significantly to World Peace.

We believe that creating a significant change in the world begins with an inner change within the individual’s heart and mind. Therefore, Ehvam intends to become a center for intensive studying and practice of authentic spiritual traditions, whose aim is to reduce the suffering of people in our world as well as increasing the levels of their happiness. This is based on maintaining morality, developing compassion, wisdom and other sublime qualities, and the implementation of these for the benefit of the people in our area and the whole world.

The center will become a warm, inviting and enlightened home for those who seek to serve society, the environment, the community and the world, and develop higher levels of spiritual growth, while seeking freedom, truth and the expansion of the heart.

Close to the center, a retreat site will be built, which will enable advanced practitioners to go on short-term, as well as long-term retreats, in order to achieve spiritual insights and strengths which will enable them to act extensively for the benefit of the world.

The center will work towards creating harmony and happiness in the hearts of its visitors, and will warmly, friendly and openly welcome students of all spiritual practices, religions, races and gender.

Through its unique management approach, the center aims at being a role model for a diverse group of people living in peace, understanding and mutual support, while empowering its members and working towards creating a harmonious, moral society and cooperating with different parties to create peace between people.

The center will function as a non-profit organization, and most of its teachings and practices will be offered free of charge, besides maintenance and accommodation. In return, the students will commit to serious, profound internal practice, completion of all the academic duties, and assistance in the daily running of the center.

The income from donations and from paid activities will be used solely for the coverage of expenses and for future operation and development of the center for many years to come.
